WHEN SHE’S AT HOME

• We keep the kitchen door closed as much as possible this way she doesn’t make a fuss if we go upstairs and avoids her eating shoes, loo roll, running out the front door etc

• To avoid her following you out the door, toss a treat in the kitchen and she will go for that which gives you time to close the door

• Missy is not allowed upstairs, if she gets up there encourage her down stairs with treats

• Keep the stair gate pulled to and kitchen door closed to avoid that happening… she will try haha

• Missy is allowed on the sofa but not allowed on the cushions, we normally pop them on top of the sofa out of the way in the day so she doesn’t snuggle them

• When she comes in from the garden, tell her to go in her bed and give her a treat. This helps keep the muddy paws off the sofa.

• If you don’t want her to cuddle you, you can get her to go in her bed on the floor near you - use the harness/lead if needed (good luck!)

• Missy is not allowed to chew her chew toy on the sofa, tell her to go 'in your bed' if she starts doing this. She knows the rule but will test you!

LEAVING MISSY AT HOME

• She can be left at home for up to 5 hours, close the kitchen door she will be fine, we sometimes leave the radio on but up to you

• Try and get her to go to the toilet before you go out
